The children enjoyed taking part in our Nursery Wellie walk even although it was a windy day. We walked round the school playground in our wellies. We would like to thank the chidren, parents and carers and appreciate their support helping us to raise money to improve the nursery garden.

Listening LIVE
Today P3B listened LIVE to Tracey Corderoy reading Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam . Â Then the illustrator, Steven Lenton, demonstrated how to draw a cartoon character. Â Here are some examples. Â Next week we are going to use our pictures to help us re-tell the stories we listened to and our next step is to write our own stories…http://www.bbc.co.uk/events/efrrzchttps://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/wl/uphallprimary/2016/10/27/scottish-book-trust-authors-live/

Roman Mosaics
This afternoon we have been using the internet to find out about different roman mosaic designs like the ones below, which were our favorite. We enjoyed creating our designs, laying these out on our mosaic boards and gluing these down. We worked with our peers to help one another to complete our designs. Now we need to use grout to seal in the gaps between our tiles.
Keep an eye on our class blog for our finished designs!
