P2 were learning how to sew last term! It was very tricky. The children were practising their patience and perseverance too!

We were lucky enough to be visited an author and illustrator. David Holt and Emma Bilston entertained us with their story, Crombie the Zombie. David told us the story and Emma showed us how to draw the main character. Crombie was sad, he was different and had no friends.  It was a happy ending, he made friends with the boys and girls. Fly 1, Fly 2 and Fly 3 helped him to make friends, suggesting places for him to try.

We had a very special visitor yesterday, probably on his way to the North Pole we thought. Thankyou to Santa for stopping off at our party and for the lovely presents. We were able to tell him what we are hoping he will leave under our trees.

The children in nursery have been busy in nursery. They performed their nativity on Monday in the school hall to their family and friends. They all did really well and the staff were very proud of them.

Yesterday we had fun at the Christmas party, playing games, eating party food and had a very special visit from Santa who handed out presents to all the children.

Today was the P7 and P6 Christmas Party and we all had a fantastic time!  We danced, played games, stopped for a snack and then danced some more before finishing up with a rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
