Can we send the letters to you via the school email address?

Yes that would be lovely. There’s no rush though, if it’s easier he could do a little bit each day-just whatever works best for you. Have a good day.
Good morning! The link doesn’t work me. I’m on my iPhone/iPad. I can just see the end, it’s as if the text is behind the border/frame x
Thea wanted me to write that she misses you Mrs McKay and she hopes she sees you again when she’s in primary 2.

Dear Primary One,
I have just read Miss Mackay’s letter on the blog and thought you might like to read a letter from me too. It is such a strange time for us all, my little girl isn’t very happy that she can’t go to school either. She is really missing her friends and I’m finding it funny being her teacher as well as her mummy!
My Easter holidays seem like a long time ago now. It has been good that the weather has been nice as it’s meant we’ve spent lots of time out in the garden and going for daily walks. I have enjoyed reading some books in my free time and am thinking about doing some work in the garden to help keep me busy at the weekend.
As Miss Mackay said in her letter we are still keeping in touch and very much trying to help you learn at home. It would be nice to hear what you are enjoying doing and if you have suggestions of other activities that we could do that would be great. We really don’t want you to be spending lots of time on a computer or tablet, learning what we call ‘life skills’ like baking or helping do some chores around the house might be something you could do.
It really would be lovely to hear from you. Missing the fun we have at school, your cheery faces and school lunches!
Keep safe and healthy,
Mrs McKay
The joys of technology! I thought I was being clever by adding a rainbow frame. Hope you have a lovely day, so nice to see the sun again!

Can’t believe how quickly I’ve received some letters from my P1s, thank you-they have made my day. Super handwriting too, thank you for the support you’re giving them at home.
Hi Mrs McKay, hope you’re fine. Can we send letter to you on the school’s email? Daiym is so excited to send it to you..x

Hello, absolutely, I’d love to read it.
Good morning, I’m not sure if it’s just me, but we can’t seem to see anything on the blog today. Should there be a dictation exercise?
Thanks
Lisa

Good morning, hope this helps. Have a super weekend.
• Dictation (adult to read each sentence for child to spell).
This man is fast.
This cat is fast.
He has a sack on his back.
I had him write about his plans for the weekend. I’ll email it over to school.

Perfect, thank you.

Got it this morning, love his spellings (barbecue was my favourite). We had a bbq at the weekend too, hope he managed to get some chicken! Planting flowers is a great thing to do too, last year in P1 we had fun planting sunflowers and watching them grow. Hope you have another lovely day.
