STEM in P1

We were very lucky today to take part in Christmas STEM activities which were organised by the young STEM leaders. We built a Christmas village using Lego, did a scavenger hunt, rolled a dice to do some robot moves and we threw disks in to a hoop. Thank-you to the STEM leaders for planning and organising such a fun session.

Here’s what we said…..

Oonagh- I was having fun playing with everyone

Ailsa- I liked the one with hoops

Jorja- I liked when we were doing the robot

Lucy – I liked doing the hoops

Ariana – I liked the Lego

Riley – I liked the Lego

Lilly – I liked building the Lego

Freya – I liked doing the scavenger hunt

George – I liked the scavenger hunt

P1 Christmas fun

We have had a very exciting week in Primary 1. On Tuesday we went on the bus to Howden Park Centre to watch the Pantomime, Mother Goose. We thought it was very funny and we booed the baddy who kept calling us losers! We loved the happy ending.

On Wednesday we put on our warm winter clothes, waterproof trousers and boots and we went out to play in the snow. The snow was very soft so we couldn’t build any snowmen but we had lots of fun making snow angels, rolling in the snow and sliding down the hill on a sledge.
