This week in Primary 1S we have been learning about tartan, Scottish π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ songs and Robert Burns. We will be singing our songs at our school Robert Burns celebration π.
We made our own Hampshire McHaggis in a tartan bed and learned all out what a βclanβ was and why there was so many different tartans. We picked colours we would like our tartan to look like.
We read the story Oliverβs fruit salad and it inspired us to make our own fruit salads. We used lots of skills chopping our fruit π and tasting new things π π₯ π π.
