It was a very busy week in Primary 4, we had book week and Catholic Education week.

For book week we have all become authors making our  very own fiction books. We look forward to sharing these with you at our bonfire day!

For Catholic Education week , all Catholic Schools across Scotland are celebrate at the same time.  The theme for this special week is Communion Participation, Mission.

Communion – We travel towards God together.

Participation – We join in at Mass.

Mission – We tell others about God’s Word.

This week

we looked at how we can participate in Mass and who we celebrate mass with, in school or at home. The children  shared their personal stories about going to Mass with their families, or at school.  They then made models of churches and who they would take to Mass.

It was a very wet outdoor learning session this week but we all enjoyed being out and connecting with nature. We talked about the trees 🌳 🌲 in our woodland area and where they came from. How some are native to Scotland and some actually came with the Vikings ( our class topic). We played a great game of Viking Raiders!
