P2 Learning

Good Afternoon P2!

I hope you have enjoyed your morning tasks.  Here are some activities for you to do after you have had your lunch!

Home Learning Tasks P2 30.03.20 PM

Remember to make sure that you spend some time in the fresh air – maybe you could play out in the garden or go for a walk with your adult?  When I go for my walk this afternoon, I will be looking for bears and rainbows in the windows of the houses I pass.  See if you can see any if you go for a walk!

P7 Afternoon Post 30.3

Good Afternoon Primary 7

Here at the answers to you Mild, Spicy and Hot algebra tasks today.

Hot Maths Monday 30.3.20 Answers Mild Monday 30.3.20 Answers Spicy Maths Monday 30.3.20 Answers

Your afternoon task today is all about Morse code, a way of communicating with people that came in very handy during WW2.

Attached is a sheet that gives you an example of what the Morse code alphabet looks like and has some secret phrases for you to try and figure out!

morse code

There is also a challenge on the sheet to see if you are able to create a way of sending a Morse code message to someone in your house, this could be using something you have already have at home or something you may have to put several items together to get working.

In the channels on teams where you can chat, could you say hello to your friends using only dots and dashes? Could you spell out their name as well as your own?

If you would like to know more about the invention of Morse code there is lots of information to be found about its invention and how it was used during the war. If you find any interesting facts, you could note these down in your jotter or record them on your device.

Primary 7a 30/03/20

Good morning Primary 7a. All of your work is the same as Mr McGurn has posted below however we have different spelling words. I have attached these for you to use, some of them are a bit tricky so you might need to ask an adult or use a resource like a dictionary (online versions will work just as well) to find the meaning of them.

Keep up the hard work and we will post again at lunchtime!

PE Primary 1-3

Good Morning everyone,

Last weeks lessons had a fitness focus so I thought we would change things up this week and engage your creativity through dance.

Today for your warm up, I would like you to play a game of musical statues with the people in your house, remember when the music stops you have to freeze and stay as still as you can (breathing and blinking are still allowed).

For the main part of your lesson I would like you to dance with Maximo click on the link below and dance along to some of your favourites!

https://app.gonoodle.com/channels/maximo

If you enjoyed dancing with Maximo you can explore the other channels on Go Noodle and dance along to these too!

Enjoy!
