Great effort this morning P4B
This afternoon’s tasks are:
–Topic – Throughout the Harry Potter series, Harry and his friends come across many magical creatures on their adventures, as well as in their Care of Magical Creatures lessons at Hogwarts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71xBu_VHTfY
Science – We have looked a lot lately at washing our hands. I came across an experiment which further emphasises the importance of washing them properly. Watch this clip of the experiment and then try it for yourself. https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/watch/germs-experiment
Music – Check out Karen singing ‘Have you ever, ever, ever’ and see if you can remember the words and sing along. https://youtu.be/Wn62rnpMmGc

You are going to have a science activity set tomorrow morning so if you have time this afternoon it might be wise to see if you can find an egg and some loose materials you may have around the house – no more clues but it should be Eggcellent fun!
Hope you enjoy your afternoon and the rest of the evening when it comes.

If you don’t have a printer at home or would like to colour the mindfulness sheets in digitally then follow these instructions to do so.
You should also be able to edit these on a phone or tablet if you save to the gallery and then edit. However, it might only have the pen to colour rather than the fill tool. If you find another way to do this then please let us know.
Remember to stay active – Mrs Lafferty is posting activities that you could do every day!
We look forward to seeing any posts on your Personal Learning Blogs – look out for comments from us on your posts!
Have a great afternoon and evening!

Good afternoon everyone ! I hope you had an exciting morning completing the set tasks. It is lovely to see all your fantastic learning posted on your personal learning profiles.
As Easter is approaching quickly, I would like you to take some time to watch the Easter Story. I have provided a link below. Afterwards you should design your own cartoon strip, describing and ordering important events which happened in the story. It might be useful to take notes while you are watching!
To complete our topic, I would like you to research The Human Body e.g. circulatory system, respiratory system, the brain, nervous system and the five senses etc You can choose how to present your findings. Perhaps make a poster or design an information leaflet or alternatively create a power point.
Have fun !

Hi Primary 7,
I hope you have all had a fantastic week! Since it is approaching the Easter holidays, we thought it would be nice for you to complete some Easter themed artwork. I loved seeing the fantastic pictures you produced last week and it would be great to see this weeks finished masterpieces on your personal learning blogs. At the moment, I am only linked to a few of your personal learning blogs, but if you could all try and add me, that would be perfect. Your parents were all sent an email with instructions on how to do this earlier in the week.
Below is a YouTube link showing you how to create an Easter bunny picture. It links well with the work we were doing on line and pattern before the schools were closed. The video is just to give you a rough guide; I would love to see you being creative with it. For example, create your own background (you don’t need coloured paper, you can use coloured pens/paints to create your own), use different patterns on the bunny, change the shape of the glasses etc. At the beginning of the video, you will need to pause it and copy the outline of the bunny.
You don’t need to complete the full task today, you can always start it today and complete it tomorrow. If you need any help with the task, send me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
I can’t wait to see your finished results!
Mrs Craig
