P4a Morning Activities – Tuesday 21st April
Good Morning P4! Thank you for all of the hard work that you did yesterday.
Here are your tasks for today. Remember, if you are not able to print out, you can write in your jotter or on paper.
You will need these worksheets to help you:
Remember to take breaks and get some exercise and if you cannot do all or any of the tasks, this is ok. The most important thing is that you are safe, well and happy.

Primary 7 Tuesday 21st April – AM
Good morning Primary 7!
Here is your work for this morning.
Literacy: Some reading Comprehension today based on the famous Greek tale of Icarus, you may have heard a warning about flying too high or too close to the sun and this story is where that originates from. 2 Sections of reading with a set of questions for each. Remember to answer in full sentences ( Capital and full stops) giving as much detail as possible. Complete on the sheet, into your Home Learning jotter or type into Word and then post to your Personal Learning Blog.
Mild Reading Comprehension Tuesday
Spicy Reading Comprehension Tuesday
Hot Reading Comprehension Tuesday
Numeracy and Mathematics: Complete the same BM Learn It from yesterday – try to beat your score or in what time you managed to complete it. Is there an approach that might help you get a higher score? E.g. Do all the addition sums first.
https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/wl/stjohnogilvieprimary/files/2020/04/BM100second.mp3
Today for negative numbers there is the choice of Mild, Spicy and Hot so consider how you managed yesterday and choose the level best suited to you but don’t be afraid to push yourself. You can always look back at yesterday’s PowerPoint if you need a reminder and drawing your own number line from 20 to -20 and having it beside you would be a big help. Number-Lines
Work hard P7 and remember to upload work to your Personal Learning Blog.
