Good Morning,
I hope you all enjoyed your first day of the pentathlon yesterday remember you will complete the same activities each day throughout the week aiming to jump a little further or higher and run a little bit faster to improve on your previous days scores. I have posted the task sheet below to remind you of the activities and how to set them up below, try your best to set the activities up the same each time you do them for the most accurate results.
If you are looking for other ways to keep active throughout the day you can also have a look at the document below which is full of fun links to stay active.
Don’t forget to check out the @WLPENetwork twitter each day for fun daily challenges! Over the next couple of weeks we are having some sporting stars take over our PE twitter, have a look and see if you recognise any of these faces and give their challenges a go!
Stay safe and stay active,
Mrs Lafferty

Good Afternoon
When looking at tasks, please don’t rush through them. Try to do your best, with handwriting, presentation, spelling and effort. If you can’t finish something, if you don’t have time, then leave it and come back to it later. These are all about improving and practicing skills, not finishing as quickly as possible.
Remember SUMDOG has a West Lothian competition this week. Its ends on Thursday and we need more people to play to enter.
Rights of the child activities this afternoon.
Look through the Powerpoint. There are short activities in the powerpoint and some tasks at the end. You don’t have to do all the tasks.

Hello everyone, I hope you’ve had a lovely morning.
This afternoon we are going to move forward with our topic and look at patterns in art.
Firstly, create fact files about two of the key characters in the Jacobite story so far:
You can do all these activities in your jotter or straight onto your personal learning blog.
One of the worst episodes in Jacobite (and Scottish) history was the Massacre of Glencoe. Use the powerpoint to find out what happened then the questions to record your knowledge:

The Massacre of Glencoe Activity
Our art this week starts with a simple activity that you can extend to make as complex as you would like. I’m looking forward to seeing everything you create so remember to upload photos to your personal learning blog please. Create an image that can have two sides:

Use patterns to fill one side and the inside of the shapes on the other side. Here are some examples:
Have a great afternoon everyone,

Good Afternoon Primary 7.
Here are your answers for today’s maths
Today’s HWB Work:
The last few weeks we have been focusing on our emotions, something that is particularly important just now. Today we are going to look at managing difficult emotions. The PowerPoint will run through some examples for you and then the follow up task is to design some characters who display some of the emotions we have been learning about. Remember, you can complete the work in your jotter, on technology or print it out if you have that function.

Today’s RE Work:
This month we have to revisit The Gifts of the Holy Spirit. You will have learned about this during Confirmation but as this was a while ago, it’s good to refresh our memories.
This PowerPoint has the information you need and a couple of tasks to complete in your Home Learning Jotter.
The seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit
To finish there is a matching activity, draw lines to match them up or write out the Gifts and their descriptions in your jotter.

Remember to post work to your Personal Learning Blogs.
