Good morning everyone!
It’s storytime! I hope everyone is well and happy and enjoys today’s story. It is all about a unicorn and being good friends.

Good morning, we are going to do some RME and Health and Wellbeing today. I am also looking forward to chatting with you all around 10.00 am .
Task 1 – Health and Wellbeing
This week has been Mental Health Week with the focus being on the word kindness. Have a look at the photos below. Your task is to create your own version of the word “kind” (or “kindness” if you fancy a challenge!) using materials of your choice. Remember to post your work to your PLB.
Task 2 – RME
Yesterday was the Feast of the Ascension. You have a video clip and a passage to read and then complete the activity. You can do this using a computer programme or on a piece of paper, you don’t need to print anything out.
Have a great morning!

Good morning Primary 7, sadly the weather doesn’t look great for the weekend, it may be raining cats and dogs!
RE Task
We have another prayer to Mary for you to learn this week – the Memorare. Try saying it out a few times with the words in front of you and then try to say it without looking at the words.

I have included a pdf of this which you can colour and keep if you can print out or you could try to copy it into your jotter

Here is the memorare set to some nice music which might help you learn it while you colour.

And to finish here’s an interesting and fun take on a Hymn based on the Hail, Holy Queen which we learned at the start of May that actually comes from a famous movie – Sister Act.

HWB Task
We continue with our RRS work and UN Rights of a Child. Can you guess which article it is this week?
There is a PowerPoint which has some information and video links to watch before a range of activities for you to complete. Choose the tasks you want to complete but the remember to share your work on you PLB so we can share them with Mrs Miller. I have also attached just the activities in a PDF file if that is easier to access.
Have a great weekend, and stay safe! Mrs McLaughlin and Mr McGurn

Dear boys and girls from both P4 classes!
What a beautiful couple of days we’ve been having to enjoy the sun and the long days of light! 😎After completing our tasks, of course!😃
Today, as always on a Friday, we will have Religious and Catholic Education, followed by the Right of the Week pack of activities!
TASK 1 – ASCENSION DAY – THIS YEAR ON THE 21ST OF MAY
Watch this clip to find out about what happened between the day Jesus rose from the dead – Easter Sunday , and Ascension day, which was celebrated yesterday.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uokrGye6Xfc
After that, and to make sure that you have understood what is more important from all the information in the film, here is a summary with the most important things to know about Ascension day for you to read:
Now, your challenge is to draw, as best as you can, we are not artists so don’t worry, The Ascension of Jesus and to put some words, the right ones, of course, coming out of Jesus’ mouth when he went Up to Heaven.
Hope you find this interesting and that you take pictures to post them in your Personal Learning blogs.😊
TASK 2 – RIGHT OF THE WEEK – ARTICLE 28 RIGHT TO EDUCATION
Here you can find the Powerpoint about Article 28. Don’t forget to watch the clip and to try and complete as many activities as possible! It is all really good learning about the world and the rights every child should be entitled to!

Have a wonderful weekend enjoying the sun, your families/carers company and always keeping safe!😎😊
