We are also  going to be looking at how professional athletes eat on a day to day basis. The link below takes you an article all about different athletes and what they eat on a daily basis. Have a read about the importance of eating healthy and then create an example of a meal plan, for the whole day – breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, there is an example menu below. You can create the menu for any athlete of your choice, it could be you favourite footballer, respected rugby player, greatest golfer! There is an example menu included below to give you some ideas.

P4a- Tuesday 2nd June- Afternoon Activities

Good afternoon P4a.

Here are your afternoon Activities:

TASK 1 – RME – THE HISTORY OF THE POPE – PART 1

As you will hopefully remember, our last lesson was about The Pentecost, the 50th day after Jesus’ resurrection and the 10th day after His ascension to Heaven. This year the feast of the Pentecost was celebrated last Sunday, the 31st of May and it is so important because on that date, we also celebrate the birth or beginning of the Catholic Church.

As some of you may be aware, the Pope is the leader or chief of the Catholic Church and believed to be blessed by God when chosen.

So, today your work is to find out more about the History of the Popes and for that here is The History of the Pope – Part 1  Power point:

The history-of-the-pope-powerpoint Part 1

Now watch this: https://youtu.be/_QlXx8u1eL4

Choose one worksheet to complete. The mild challenge has less questions compared to the hot challenge.

The History of the Pope – Part 1 – MILD

The History of the Pope – Part 1 – HOT

Task 2- Virtual Sports Fortnight

Remember to complete the challenge.
