Good morning Primary 4.

I hope you enjoyed the tasks from yesterday. We are going to be working on internet safety today.

Here are your tasks:

Task 1- Who can we share it with?

It is important to know who you can share personal information with.

What is Personal Information?

Personal information identifies who we are, where we live, and how family, friends and others can find us to talk to us or come over and visit us. We need to be careful about who we give out our personal information. Click on the link below and it will take you to a video which explains how to keep personal information private.

You can choose to complete activity 1 or activity 2.

Activity 1- Sharing information online
Look at the pieces of information and decide whether it is safe to share when you are talking to someone you don’t know online or in real life. Write safe or unsafe beside each piece of the information. Remember, you can write it in your jotter or on a piece of paper. Sharing Information Online Discussion Activity mild

Activity 2 Who can I share it with?

Your challenge is to read the scenarios on the worksheet and decide if it is safe to share  personal information with the person. Write yes or no for each scenario and explain your answer. Remember if you are not sure whether you should be giving someone your personal information, you should always ask a trusted adult for example your parents. Task 2 Treasure Map Coding

Your next challenge is to follow code commands to find the pirate’s belongings. There are three levels. The easiest are the questions with 1 star and the hardest are the questions with 3 stars. Treasure map coding
