Literacy
For literacy today we are going to be focusing on nouns – looking at the different types such as concrete, abstract, proper and collective. The PowerPoint below will go through a few different examples of each, it then has a series of 5 different activities for you to complete. Each activity is on a different slide. Please complete these in either your home learning jotter or on a document such as word.
Numeracy/Maths
In maths today we are starting with a Big Maths quiz to see how you have been getting on this week with you mental maths.
We are continuing on with time, with a focus on timetables. These are such an important life skill – cinemas, buses, trains all use timetables. Try out the online starter before moving onto the main task
