Primary 6B Morning Tasks 29-04-20

Good morning and I hope you are ready for another day of learning! We are going to do some imaginative writing and maths today.

Imaginative Writing

You are going to write an imaginative story entitled “The Mystery Door!” Look at the PowerPoint below, which will hopefully give you some ideas  how to start your writing. It is entirely up to you what happens in your story, but remember to have a clear structure, lots of detail, accurate punctuation and try to use vocabulary which creates suspense! It is helpful if you can type your stories as they are easier to read. I can’t wait to read your completed work on your learning profiles!

Numeracy  The number of the day is 807 547 !

We are going to develop our multiplication skills and use the grid method to work out calculations. Look at the PowerPoint provided and they will remind you how to do this. Next choose a mild, spicy or hot worksheet to complete. You can either print the worksheets or copy the grids neatly into your home learning journal. Remember to continue to be independent learners and check your calculations when the answers are posted on the blog in the afternoon!

Have a super morning Primary 6!
