Good morning P7, we hope you had a good weekend and made the most of the good weather – using sun protection of course!

Here is today’s Literacy Work:

P7A: Spelling Matrix

weekly spelling words

P7B: Spelling Words and Tasks 27.4.20

Remember to keep up with your ‘White Fang’ reading

White Fang PDF version of the book

White Fang pages and film letter This tells you which chapters to read each week

This is an online audio book if you need a bit more support with the reading.  You log in using the ‘My Class Login’ button using these details:

Username: sjo primary 7
Password: White Fang            Capital W and F and space between words – sometimes easier to copy and paste

Continue taking notes: Who are the main characters? Where is the novel set? What are the main events of the story?  This will help you write a book review at the end of the novel. This can be in your Home Learning Jotter or using a template like below (or if you find your own that’s fine too).

Today’s Maths Work:

For mental maths this week I want you to try this Big Maths: Learn It everyday! Make sure you time yourself and stick to the 100 seconds – no extra! Hopefully you can improve on your score each day or if you are finishing ALL 72 correctly, try and beat your time each day.  Post your scores/times to Your Personal Learning Blog.

We have been learning about negative numbers so now it’s time to see how you have been getting on.  Remember it’s ok to have a number line beside you, you could even look back at last week’s PowerPoint to remind yourself.
