Mosaics are a type of art that are made up of hundreds and thousands of mini squares of tile or stone. They often are laid in a pattern or make up a pictures. To find out a little bit more about mosaics, visit

Tasks
- You could use the internet to look up other mosaic designs.
- Make your own mosaic by doing one of the following:
- Visit http://www.gwydir.demon.co.uk/jo/mosaic/easy.htm and make your own design. Either print it out or take a photograph if you can.
- Use squared paper to colour your own design
- Cut out small squares of coloured paper and stick down to make your own mosaic picture (ask permission before you cut anything up
