What a busy week we have had in P1B!

We have been learning all about numbers to 20. There was a spider covering up the number and when we said the right answer the spider ran away! It was very funny.

In Literacy, we have been learning the ‘n’ sound. We have been using a spinner game to practice reading words and our letter formation.

In Science, we used all our senses and made popcorn. We then tasted different flavours and made a bar graph to show our favourite.

In PE, we had a football session. We played Hungry Hippos Football Style and we even got to steal footballs from the other goals.

In Art, we followed instructions to draw a pumpkin.

We have also been learning about Self Assessment. We had to choose our favourite piece of Literacy work from this term and put a photo on Seesaw. We then recorded a sentence about why we thought this was our best piece of work.

Here are some of our personal highlights from this week:

Grace – I enjoyed reading.

Niall – I enjoyed tasting popcorn.

Aayat – I enjoyed making the pumpkins.

Amelia- I enjoyed doing Literacy.

Hanna – I enjoyed reading a book.

Aria – I enjoyed doing the football at PE.

Congratulations to Alayha who is our Hot Chocolate Winner this week. She has been trying hard to write her numbers the correct way and showed confidence in saying the sounds.
