Dear Parents,

A busy week before the holidays with lots going on in P7B:

We have continued to prepare for the upcoming SNSAs  and take part in the MathsBURST STEM project from Glasgow Uni in maths.

We finished reading Kensuke’s Kingdom and very much enjoyed it and are looking forward to seeing the similarities and differences in the film. We will start our new book ‘Millions’ by Frank Cottrell-Boyce after the October break.

For IDL we were printing using paint and polystyrene – results were oaky but would have worked better with printing ink.

In PE we had a visiting coach take a football session where we worked very hard and did very well.

Paige said, ‘We did Football with Steven and he taught us how to do more cool tricks and we had a match.’

For outdoor learning we went to Deans Woods to continue building our Deans with found materials.

Twinnie said, ‘I think it is lovely to build dens and is really fun.’

We also did a bit of Food Technology as Mrs Dwane asked us to use up some resources.

Ishani M said, Baking cookies is super fun and eating them was even better. It was fun making them with my friends. They were super tasty.’

 

Our Hot Chocolate winner this week is Paige who really showed her kind and empathetic nature towards others.
