Primary 7A Learning Highlights 5/9/25

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a busy week in Primary 7!

During numeracy and maths, we have continued to learn about place value and coordinates. For writing, we have been creating information reports, based on Japan’s traditions and cultures. We also worked in pairs using an atlas, to plot the major cities in Japan.

During outdoor learning we used the slack line, zip wire and hammocks! Rob also showed us how climb trees safely, always having three points in contact! It was great fun! We are all looking forward to our session next week!

We continued to read our class novel ” Skellig” and answered literal questions based on the text. Our class have been learning French and this week we concentrated on colours!

Some of our class took part in the cross country championships on Thursday. Everybody did amazingly well with Ailsa and Jude winning first place overall!

Congratulations to Mason on being nominated for our hot chocolate award this week.
