We have had a very spooky week in Primary 2, with lots of fun Halloween activities taking place!

On Thursday, It was wonderful to see the children all dressed up in their Halloween costumes.  We had a fantastic Halloween afternoon with the other infant classes and completed lots of fun activities.  Look out for a separate Blog post with lots of photos showing the types of things we got up to.

For writing this week, the children wrote descriptions about their very own Witch.  They used lots of adjectives to make their writing more interesting.  Here are a few examples of their amazing work:

We have continued to work on addition within 30 in Maths and the children are coping very well with this.  We carried out some group problem solving activities on Wednesday which allowed the children to put their addition skills to use.
