Primary 2A – Weekly Update 19.5.23

What a super week we have had in Primary 2a!

The children are really enjoying learning about space and have loved finding out about the planets in our solar system!  They worked together in small groups to research a planet and make a poster about it.  They then presented their posters to the rest of the class.

In Maths, we are continuing to develop our multiplication and division skills and this week we have been working on the 5 times table.  We have also been continuing to learn about directions and have made our very on Beebot maps which we will try out next week.

Some of our children went to church for Ascension Thursday and we are very proud to report that they behaved beautifully.

Huge congratulations to this weeks hot chocolate winner, Miss Vivien!  Vivien is always hard working, kind and an all-round fabulous example to her peers.

Pupil Highlights:

Jack:  I enjoyed playing football with my friends because I scored a goal with my weak foot.

Hasika:  I loved leaning about Space and the planets.

Chahiti:  I liked free writing Friday.  I wrote about going to Disneyland.

Linda:  I enjoyed making the Beebot mats.  I can’t wait to try the Beebots on them next week.

Rory:  I liked learning the 5 times table.

Vivien:  I enjoyed getting extra PE with Mrs Craig outside.
