P2A – Learning Highlights -WB 8.5.23

Hello families of P2A

We have had another fun week filled with lots of new learning.

The children were super excited to start our new topic on Space! They can’t wait to explore this topic throughout the rest of the term. This week we learned how rockets travel into Space.

In Numeracy we worked on multiplying and dividing by 10 and in Literacy we wrote our very own recounts and learned how to use a dictionary. In Maths we learned about positional language and got to programme the Beebots!

In RE, we made beautiful flowers and rosary beads to place on our Alter, beside our statue of Mary.

Some of our highlights:

Chahiti – I liked free writing Friday. I wrote about rainbows.

Jack, Angel, and Tadiwa – We loved outdoor activity time. We played football.

Jiadi – I liked programming the Beebots.

Linda and Diana – We loved learning about Space.

Rory – I liked writing my Recount. I wrote about my holiday.

Huge Congratulations to Hafsah, our hot chocolate winner!

Have a lovely weekend!
