P4b weekly blog post 17/03/23

In P4b, we’ve been very busy exploring our recycling topic and building up notes in order to prepare us for writing an information report.  We’ve been simultaneously developing our knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of an information report so we are able to confidently apply these skills within our own writing.

In maths, we have moved on from presenting information and started our fractions unit.  We’ve explored fraction walls and number lines and have deepened our background knowledge and understanding of what fractions are and the patterns within them.  We have then been able to order and compare fractions with the same denominator and with different denominators.

Highlights:

Stefi: I enjoyed doing PE because we got to play alphabetic tig.

Emily: I enjoyed doing fractions because I found it quite easy and fun.

Aiden: I enjoyed free time in PE because I liked throwing the basketball into the hoop.

Amelia: I enjoyed St Patrick’s Day.

Well done to Amelia, our hot chocolate winner this week.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
