We have had another great week in P1. All the children have been working hard and showing us their fantastic learning.

This week in Literacy we have been doing activities linked to the book ‘The River’ by Tom Percival.

Aaron – We learned about the lifecycle of a tree.

Luca – We looked at rivers. They can be angry and calm.

Enso – We did writing about a river.

Faye – We used tally marks to count our favourite season.

Martyna – We made a pictogram of our favourite season.

Rose – We learned about frogs.

Faye – We learned about the lifecycle of frogs.

This weeks focus sounds were ‘ee’ and ‘ai’.

Victoria – We made snails because the sound ‘ai’ in the middle.

We went to St Peters on Wednesday to visit Father Simon.

Enso – He showed us Jesus on the cross.

Faye – There were statues.

Aaron – We saw a statue of Mary.

Today, we attended virtual mass for St John Ogilvie Feast Day. We had a fun day playing games and eating cake.
