Primary 3B – Week Begining 6th February

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had an enjoyable week in Primary 3!

During Literacy, we have been focusing on including conjunctions within our sentences. We practised some actions to remind us about using the correct sentence structure ‘clause, conjunction, clause’. Furthermore, we practised correcting sentences and adding capital letters and full stops accurately.

In Numeracy, we continue to work on the exchanging method for subtraction. We extended our learning by completing worded problems and used this method to work out our answers. Furthermore, we started to access sumdog Maths activities using the Ipads. We really enjoyed Primary 7 children coming to support us with logging on.

We continued our topic on West Lothian and in Spanish we consolidated numbers 1 – 30.

We particularly enjoyed making cards for Valentines Day, as well as writing about the people in our lives who we love and discussing why they mean so much to us.

I hope you have a safe an enjoyable week off!
