P6B’s Wonderful Week (2nd Sept)

Hello P6B families,

We have had another fantastic and busy week. We have continued to follow our class charter rules (Ready, Respectful and Safe) and shown what Awesome Ogilvie’s we truly are in all our learning this week. This week, Niamh received Hot Chocolate at Home for being incredibly helpful and respectful – well done Niamh!

Some learning highlights from 6B:

• Alex – enjoyed recapping how to divide and multiply by 10, 100 and 1000 and then solving these types of question in Number Talks.

• Vivien – liked working through the “Fluent in 5” maths challenges and beating my time!

• Naman – liked learning about the different ways we learn and discussing the ‘Thinking Hats’ to help us understand what happens in the brain when we learn new things!

• Jayden – enjoyed developing basketball skills in PE with Mrs Lafferty.

Here are some photo highlights from the week – including creating a class display of the Thinking Hats (the way we think and understand to help us learn new things) and an art activity where we had to work and communicate effectively as a team to bring together a picture – : Have a wonderful weekend everyone and see you on Monday!

Miss MacGregor
