P6B Learning highlights – week beginning 7.3.22

Good afternoon to all of our families,

It has been a busy and fun week for Primary 6B, who have really enjoyed participating in all the World Book Day activities! We really enjoyed writing our collaborative stories as a whole class and designing illustrations to  go with our stories. We also enjoyed the ”Bloom” story by Anne Booth. We completed story boards show the key points and produced art work based on the story. We particularly liked creating bookmarks for Primary 2 and were very impressed with the bookmarks they made for us! Thank you Primary 2.

Here are also some of our wooden spoons transformed into different characters.

On Friday we presented our stations of the cross assembly to Primary 5 and Primary 7.

We also enjoyed making our coppers go as far as a mile and we hope they make a big difference to the lives of others.

Well done to our reading champion Hanna who took part in all world book week activities with enthusiasm! Also, well done to Tim who has worked well both in class and at home on all learning tasks this week and has earned hot chocolate at home.

Have a great weekend,

Mrs Roy
