A fantastic week of learning in primary 6!

HWB: We have been learning how to express our emotions using the colour monsters to help us. This week we also created our kindness tree and have been adding acts of kindness to it each day.

R.E: This week we were learning about the Good Samaritan and from this trying to be kind to others at school and at home.

IDL: We enjoyed working in groups to discuss our topic Extreme Earth we were able to share our prior knowledge with each other and thought of many exciting things we would like to learn about.

Literacy: We have been learning about nouns, adjectives and verbs and successfully included these in our writing.

Maths: We have been learning about subtraction and trying different strategies to see what works best for us.

Art: We learned about the artist Bridget Riley who is famous for optical illusions and had a lot of fun trying to make our art work look 3D.

 

Well done to our first over and above winner this week!
