Primary 1B Learning Highlights 12th December 2025

This week we have been very busy preparing for our Nativity. We had to practise being on the stage and moving round the hall. It was very exciting. We had our dress rehearsal for our siblings, buddies and nursery friends and we did so well. On Thursday, we had two performances for our families and we did an amazing job!

On Friday, we went to mass at St Peter’s. We then got to sing our Nativity songs for the parishioners and help to set up the Nativity Scene in the church. We got a special treat of juice and shortbread and it was delicious.

This week we read the book ‘Rudey’s Windy Christmas’. We thought it was very funny! Ask us all about the story. We had to listen and follow the instructions to draw our own reindeer and we got to colour the pictures in. We did a fantastic job of creating these.

We all agreed that our highlight of the week was taking part in the Nativity.

Congratulations to Victoria who is our Reading Champion this fortnight. She has shown confidence in trying to read cvc words.
