Dear Readers,
We hope you had a great week and are having a lovely weekend!
This week’s highlights in P6B, according to the pupils, were:
- PE, more specifically basketball with David coaching! We were so excited that we have asked David to come back every PE day!😍
- Helping Mrs Brown’s P3 class to make their beautiful lasagne sheet poppies!
- Making our own amazing poppies with the leftover painted sheets of lasagne that the P3s had prepared, always thinking about those who have lost their lives to fight for everyone’s freedom in various wars.
- Big Maths, Beat That!
- Spelling work and weekly spelling assessment.
- Taking notes about ‘ Should schools require children to wear uniforms?’ to use when writing our Discussion in the coming weeks.
- STEM lesson on 2d shapes rotation and spatial awareness.
- Harry Potter novel.
Mrs Valente’s highlights of the week:
- PE and Basketball with David, of course!❤️
- The Religious service in the Upper Area during which we all tried to improve our singing.
- Proudly looking at the kind and caring way the P6 boys and girls helped the P3s💕
Many Congratulations to our dear Cohen who was the Hot Chocolate of the Week due to his absolutely amazing efforts to improve his handwriting and also for always being on task in class! Super congratulations!🥇😊
