Hello P3 families,
This is the last week of term. I cannot believe how time is flying! We have some very special memories since the start of term.
Here are our highlights this week from The Ferrets:
Matteo has loved having the St Margarets pupils with us this week (one per day). They were here on work experience. They were superstars and the children especially enjoyed hearing a story read to them each day.
Joseph has been enjoying our lessons so far on the Ancient Romans. This will be a mini topic followed by a pupil choice one. Thank you to everyone who has sent an Ancient Roman fact through Seesaw so far to start us off.
Izhaan’s highlight was football this week. The children had an opportunity to develop their ball skills with a football coach. I was so proud of their efforts and enthusiasm. They gave it their all and most importantly, had fun.
Eliza enjoyed learning about speech bubbles this week and made up dialogue between a boy and girl about cake. She used the picture clues to help her with what the speech bubbles would say. Good work Eliza!
Navami has continued to enjoy Viking saga music with Mrs Morrison.
Ellie reported that she absolutely loves Mrs Roy so her learning with her has to be what she chose (celebrating our differences).
My highlight was listening to the facts sent in so far for Ancient Roman facts, especially Oscar’s, which made us giggle! According to our historian, Oscar from P3, the Ancient Romans would use a sponge on the end of a stick to wipe their bottoms, after going to the toilet! Then they would pass the sponge to the next person! Thank you for that Oscar. I am glad that particular element of history has remained in the past!
Congratulations to our hot chocolate winner this week, Maks.
I hope you all enjoy your break and I hope to see you all on Tuesday 28th October.
Best wishes,
Mrs Brown
