In Literacy, we have been learning the a sound. We have started reading and building words which was very exciting. In writing, we used our sounds to write the words I am a super star.

In Maths, we have been learning about 3D shapes and we can name most of them. We also learned about block graphs and linked this with our work on Fairtrade.

In Science, we learned about our sense of taste. We tasted some Fairtrade Chocolate and made a graph with P1A to show which was our favourite.

In PE, we had to move like different animals and then we played a game where we had to put the eggs (beanbags) in the nests. It was fun!

In RE, we have been learning the Hail Mary Prayer.

Here are some of our personal highlights this week:

Eloran – I enjoyed learning about taste.

Niall – I enjoyed tasting chocolate.

Hanna – I enjoyed playing with the leaves.

Aria – I enjoyed tasting the chocolate.

Freya – I enjoyed drawing.

Oliver – I enjoyed tasting the chocolate.

Congratulations to Aayat who is this week’s Hot Chocolate winner. She has been trying hard to write her sounds and has been working well with others.
