Primary 1 Learning Highlights 7th June 2024

This week we have been practising our word building skills using games on the Smartboard. We are getting very confident in spelling words correctly.

In maths, we have continued to practise using greater than and less then but Miss Stebbing made it harder by putting adding sums on each side!

In topic, we learned all about the medals that are given out at the Olympic games and we designed our own medals for Paris 2024.

We have started to practise for our Assembly and we can’t wait to see all our grown ups there.

We had a very exciting Friday morning. We visited our new classrooms and met our new teachers. After break we listened to the P6 pupils doing their house captain speeches and got to vote for our favourite speech.

Some of our personal highlights this week are:

Leah – I enjoyed playing with my friends outside.

Joseph – I enjoyed doing PE.

Bella – I enjoyed going to see our new classroom.

Zuraib – I enjoyed playing outside.

Maja – I enjoyed tidying up.

Matteo – I enjoyed playing in my new classroom.

Rudhvick – I enjoyed playing with the cups.

Well done to Maja who is our Hot Chocolate Winner this week.
