Hello pupils and parents! What a lovely last week before the February holidays, which has been so well deserved after all of the pupils’ hard efforts.

Here are some highlights from the pupils:

“I enjoyed learning about decimals, fractions, and percentages and once I had more practice, it started getting easier for me.”

“We learned about true happiness in RE and it was nice thinking about the things that stick with us forever, and the things that give us temporary happiness.”

“I enjoyed learning about the conversion of weight with Mrs. Callaghan and reading scales with Miss Mushet.”

“I loved looking at different aspects of Scotland for our topic. I enjoyed making my own poem with a twist on Robert Burn’s ‘To a Mouse” and looking at ‘Wild Haggis’ for critical literacy.”

“It was fun making dramas of our predictions of the book ‘Into the Forest.”

“We worked together making a runway for our marbles in STEM this week. I also really enjoyed the STEM stations we did. We explored different types of rocks/fossils, magnets, light and shadows, and electricity.”

Miss Mushet’s Highlight:

“I always love it when a pupil plans and teaches a lesson of their choice in the week. This week, two of the pupils teamed up to design a parkour course in the gym hall and everyone LOVED it!”

Have a lovely, lovely February break everyone!
