“Happy new month” – Isabella

Hello!

I hope everyone has been enjoying themselves as much as P3 this week!

The most important voices – what P3 leaders are saying:

Amariah-Grace – “I enjoyed learning about the levels of the curriculum and learning what level I’m in”

This week we had a fantastic learning session on the Curriculum for Excellence and what it means for us as individual learners. We discussed the curriculum’s aims, levels and outcomes. We discussed the term achievement as successful learners and wider achievements.

Ishaan – “I liked seeing Aladdin”

We loved the performance of Aladdin this week! It was great and very funny!

Amy – “I liked the firework art”

Some of the children chose to participate in the firework art and loved it! This will continue next week!

Lilly – “I liked working as a team in PE”

The class played their first competitive game of benchball this week! They had a lot of fun! It got very loud and well.. competitive! I saw great team work skills! They should all be so proud! #team #leaders

Olivia – “I liked learning about All Saints’ Day”

The children liked learning all about All Saints’ Day and participating in a few activities!

Maja – “I liked the Halloween maths”

the children did such a great job, uncovering the spooky picture in numeracy! Applying their addition skill so well.

The school’s P7 pupil leadership team did a great job delivering a session on values! The children absolutely loved this and came up with great ideas and suggestions on the school’s values. The P3’s did very well linking this to the curriculum and their rights to education. Well done!

we discussed bonfire night and how we can be safe! remembering about pets, animals and all those who might be frightened by the noise! We were very reflective on how we can help and had great alternatives to fireworks! We e even watched a drone show!

Talking about safety, we discussed other places we need to remember safety information. We ended the week in Universal Studios on the Jurassic Park ride! We had a lot of… safe fun!

A huge well done to Isabella for getting the hot chocolate at home for always demonstrating our school rules and values!

Have a lovely weekend and a safe bonfire night!
