Hello Families of Primary 2A,

We had a fantastic week of fun and learning!

Primary 2A have been learning lots about Spring time, the boys and girls wrote their own acrostic poems about what happens during Spring.

We have been looking at Van Gogh’s Sunflower artwork and his use of pointillism. Primary 2A painted their own sunflowers using the same dabbing technique.

In numeracy we have been learning about money. At our class toy shop, the children have been practising using money and giving the correct amount of change.

In RE Primary 2A learnt about the story of Moses.

In topic we have been learning lots of interesting things about Livingston. This week we discussed different shops in the centre, what they sell and why they are important. The children worked together in small group to design their own shop. Here are some pictures of their amazing ideas:

Primary 2A had a fantastic time at Craigie’s Farm. We learnt lots of interesting facts about different plants and animals.

Our Hot Chocolate winner this week was none other than Miss Diana!  Big congratulations Diana, you deserve this award for all your hard work and the kindness you show to others.

Hope you have a lovely weekend,

Primary 2A are very excited for their Spring assembly!
