We have had a great week at school and welcomed a new pupil into our class. I hope everyone has a fantastic February Break and will look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday 21st of February.
These are our learning highlights for this week. We enjoyed building our Hockey skills in our PE lessons.
This week we started to learn about notes and beat patterns to create music.
During math lessons we are learning about equivalent fractions and finding amount by dividing by the denominator and multiplying by the numerator.
We learning how to classify animals in our science lesson.
During our John Muir Outdoor Learning we took photographs of areas within the school grounds which we think need to be improved. We then came up with a plan of how to improve different areas by planting, painting and upcycling things we already have in the school grounds.
In Literacy this week we have been focussing on non-chronological report writing. How to find and write interesting information to share our learning. P5B voted to write a report about Internet Safety as we had been learning about this as part of our Journey to learn about how we use our rights in everyday life. These are the rights which make sure we are supported to be safe online
