Dear Readers,

We hope you are all very well.πŸ˜€

As always, we have learned a lot and had lots of fun at the same time. Here are our highlights:

  • Our weekly spelling, including the compound words for the Green and Orange groups who have learned that those are two words joined together to then get a different meaning.
  • Our Spelling Assessment, with excellent scores for most of the class.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  • The work on subtraction, where we have solved many word problems and sums with up to 3 digit numbers and loved them!
  • The RE lesson during which we have learned that God has given us the gift of free will, or the power to make our own choices. We have learned that because God loves us he made us free to choose if we want to make a good or bad choice. God also taught us about the consequences of the bad choices that we make and of how they can be hard for us. We have spoken a lot about how aware we are of those choices and have promised to try and make the good ones whenever possible. At least try…😊
  • The punctuation lesson where we have learned to always punctuate our sentences with full stops, question marks or exclamation marks, according to what they say.
  • We particularly enjoyed learning about Elmer’s story, regarding the Rights of the Child, from which we have learned that it is absolutely fine being different and although different we are all the same: lovely human beings with great qualities.πŸ₯°

We would like to congratulate Isabel, our Hot Chocolate of the week, for her continued effort to become a true role model to all her peers! Well done, Isabel, and keep up the good work!πŸ†πŸ₯‡πŸ‘πŸ˜€

We would also like to congratulate the boys and girls from the 3 tables who won the weekly prizes of tidiest tables of the week! Well done! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ†And remember that all the tables can win! They just need to work hard for it!

That’s all for now!

Have a wonderful weekend!πŸ˜€
