This week in P1B we have all worked very hard.

We have had a few new baby siblings recently and so have been learning all about how to care for a baby. We also looked at how to keep our teeth healthy and decided to set up a dentist role play in our class.

Victoria – I liked playing in the dentist.

We have started to learn about double numbers in math and also skip counting in 10s. We completed a 100 monster by counting in 10s.

This weeks sound was ‘ch’ and we have enjoyed trying to spot ch sounds in books using magnifying glasses.

Faye – I liked learning ch.

Rose – I liked doing group work.

Yesterday we celebrated our 100th Day of School. We were all very excited and enjoyed lots of 100 activities. We made a 100 years smarter crown, counted to 100 in 10s, wrote fantastic sentences about 100 things we wish we had and played some games.

Enso – I liked doing the 100 days stuff.

Azmeer/JJ – I liked when it was 100 days.

We have enjhoyed exploring new areas in our classroom this week to consolidate our learning.

Cameron – I liked choosing my own learning.

Aaron – I liked playing games at gym.

Martyna – I liked drawing. I drew a rainbow.

Connor – I liked choosing my own learning and doing crafts.

Luca – I liked when I won the hot chocolate.

Owen – I liked playing with construction.

Well done to our hot chocolate winner : Rose

Well done to our Star Writers: Luca, Victoria, Katie, Faye and JJ
