P6B – 2nd Dec

Hello P6B families!

We have had another great week.

Miss MacGregor’s highlights:

  • Creating the Christmas Door Display together
  • Starting to understand how to calculate percentages of an amount and using our knowledge of division.
  • Exploring different expositions and marking them against the genre targets in our Learning Groups.

Pupil highlights:

  • Vivien – I enjoyed doing the Nativity Star of Light artwork
  • Jayden – I enjoyed trying to catch up to P6A in the Sumdog competition. I am very glad that we managed to get to 15th place after starting in 102nd in 2 days!
  • Praise – I enjoyed learning how to calculate percentages of an amount and understanding the real life skill.
  • Jude – I liked creating the fraction walls to better understand equivalent fractions.

Well done to Jude who was this week’s hot chocolate winner. Jude has been working really hard across all areas this week!

Here are some photo highlights – exploring the different expositions, creating fraction walls and our finished door display!
