This week in P1B

This week started off spooky with lots of Halloween activities. The class enjoyed a join the learning session with the other P1 class and both P2 classes. We loved seeing everyone dressed up and having fun.

We have been learning about keeping safe recently, this week how to stay safe on Bonfire Night. We also learned about the important job of a firefighter for People who Help us. We had great fun dressing up as firefighters.

This weeks sounds were ‘i’ and ‘o’ and we have enjoyed blending these sounds together with other learned sounds to make words. In maths we carried on our learning of addition.

Today we joined together with P1A for our outdoor learning where we drew fireworks with chalk, dressed as firefighters, played with the loose parts and on the trikes.
