P2A Weekly Highlights – Week Beginning 31/10/22

Hi Families of P2a

Our week started with a very busy, fun filled Hallowe’en. For the first time this year, the children spent the afternoon mixing with the other Primary 2 class and both Primary 1 classes. We had a joining the learning afternoon where all children in these classes got to choose activities in  the area and the 4 classrooms. The children loved this and were very excited to participate in the singing, crafts, dancing and games.

Some of our highlights:

Vivien – I loved all of the Hallowe’en activities. My favourite was making a ghost in Miss Stebbing’s class.

Chahiti – I loved making ghosts.

Zion and Rory – We really liked doing the Hallowe’en colouring.

Angel – I loved the disco and catching apples.

Diana – I liked dooking for apples. My face was all wet, it was fun!

Laura – I loved all of the Hallowe’en activities.

Chimamanda – I loved going to my sister’s class and doing the ghostbuster songs. I also love dooking for apples.

Also this week, we began to look at descriptive writing and we continued working on nearest 10 in numeracy.

We created a thunder and lightning collage as part of our weather topic and designed clothing for different types of weather,

Huge Congratulations to Rory, our hot chocolate winner.

Have a lovely weekend.
