P3B Weekly Update 13.5.22

We have had a great week here in Primary 3B.

Literacy

This week we have focused on a book called “The man who wore all his clothes”. We made predictions, thinking about what we think might happen. We identified the key events in each chapter the created a story hill where we put the chapters in order.

Maths

We have started to look at fractions, we have explored halves, quarters and thirds.  We went outside to measure things in the playground using metre sticks.

Health & Wellbeing

We continued learning about how to keep our bodies health and how to have a balanced diet.

Pupil highlights

Layla – I enjoyed doing work on emotion cogs with Mrs Dickie.

Zac – I enjoyed doing PE with Mrs Lafferty. We were doing  standing long jump, running long jump and speed bounce.

Leah – I have enjoyed doing the halves of shapes.

Matteo – I liked doing the literacy work with “The man who wore all his clothes”.
