Primary 7a Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

This week we had lots of fun and interesting activities revolving around World Book Day.

Throughout the week we were writing stories with a difference. Each day a new class had to continue a story from the day before written by another class. We contributed to 4 really interesting stories that will hopefully be shared with you soon.

We also had reading each day, and then voting for our favourite book until there was one winner between the 4 P6 and P7 classes. The eventual winner was ‘The Boy in the Orange Cape’, a lovely story about empathy and overcoming bullying.

We took part in a whole school study of the book ‘Bloom’ which was incorporated into lessons across the curriculum.

Some pupils had taken part in the Decorate a Spoon activity and brought them in to share with the class. Well done to everyone who managed to join in the fun.

Thursday was our Patron Saint’s Feast Day so Father Simon was in school to celebrate Mass with us and on Friday we had fun activities to mark the Feast Day of St. John Ogilvie.
