All of the pupils have had fantastic learning experiences this week linked to our Book Week. Thank you to Mrs Callaghan and Miss Stebbing for creating these wonderful experiences.

Each day this week our class has contributed to four different collaborative stories with P4A, P5A and P7A. These stories are very imaginative and entertaining. We also took part in reading sessions voting everyday for our favourite book.

We also reaad ‘Bloom’ by Anne Booth which has inspired our artwork this week. We created a city brought to Bloom by the kindness of the people living there. We dissected different types of flowers (Roses, Crocus, Lilies and Tulips) and labelled the various parts of each flower for Science. We also conducted an experiment with coloured food dye to see how long it takes for water to spread through a plant. We will update you next week with the results.

This week we have been working on multiplication and division in class.

We celebrated the feast of St John Ogilvie mass with Father Simon. Followed by cakes and juice today. We contributed to the mile of pennies laid in the Muga, all money collected will be sent to SCIAF. We were excited and proud to lead whole school assembly (with P6B) – praying The Stations of the Cross.

We are looking forward to another exciting week, next week as we look to develop our Persuasive Language as we start preparing for our House Captain Speeches in May.
