P7B Update!

We had such a fun week this week in P7B!

Literacy

During literacy we worked on our note taking skills. We used a digital resources to read this week about the rainforest and showed our comprehension skills to answer follow up HOTs questions. We continued our work on information reports and concluded our research to begin our writing. We have been working on using OneNote to share our work with Mr Pentland.

Numeracy

For numeracy we worked on some more fractions, decimals and percentages. We showcased our skills to convert fractions to percentages and enjoyed working on these skills to illustrate access to fresh drinking water across the world and to estimate the snowfall across Scotland. We also worked on measure, exploring the jobs involved in building a house and their knowledge of perimeter and area.

HWB

We continued our work on substance and drugs this week and looked at myths or facts to do with alcohol. Some we knew and some surprised us. We explored article 3 this week which was all about the best interest of the child. This was connected through most of our lessons.

Thank you for a great week P7B!
