Primary 6B learning highlights

Hello P6B families!

It has been another busy week in primary 6, here are some highlights from our week:

Numeracy and Maths: We played times table bingo to work on our speed and accuracy of our times tables. We have been learning about the properties of 3D shape and by the end of the week got to create some of our own. We have also been learning about tessellation and how to use 2D shapes to make repeated patterns. Here are some examples below:

Literacy: We enjoyed using our skills we have learned so far this year in writing to create our own Christmas stories. We included lots of descriptions to interest our readers.

R.E: We have continued to research our faith through the gift of knowledge and gathered more evidence for our Pope Francis Faith award folders. We have been learning about the Advent wreath and created our own Advent alter in class with each candle representing a different meaning.

Over and above: Congratulations to our well deserved hot chocolate winner, Sophie!

Have a great weekend and stay safe,

Mrs Roy and Primary 6B
