Primary 7B Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

Here’s an update for this week’s learning in P7B:

This week we have been writing balanced arguments.  We looked at an example on ‘Should Dogs Be On Leads in Parks?’ and highlighted useful language, phrases, connectives and openers which could be used in our own writing.  Our topic was ‘Are the School Holidays Too Long?’ We came up with arguments for both sides of the issue but you’ll not be surprised to find out that in our conclusions, our own opinion is that they are NOT too long.

We have finished our Christmas Window Display, it was designed by Elias and Brooklyn, voted for by P7B and we all had a hand in bring it to life, we hope you like it?

We had our third Advent Service as we prepare for Christmas where the pink candle is lit. Pink is the colour for Joy, which was this week’s theme.

We expanded our French conversations by now being able to ask and answer if we have any brother or sisters and next week we’ll add where we live.

Here are our Funky Hair pupils who helped us with donations to a foodbank.

Now we’ll hear an update from this week’s Lead Learners:

We really enjoyed playing Jacques a dit in French which is Simon says. It helps us learn colours and classroom objects and instructions.  We had to try and make our Christmas Window Display a bit darker as the tint in the glass made some of our work too hard to see.
