House Captain Speeches: Many of us have been writing, editing and practising our speeches in the hope of being voted House Captain or Vice-Captain. We hope to find out the results on Monday.

Maths: We have been practising rounding numbers within 10s of millions and multiplying large numbers by multiples of 10, 100 & 1000.

Literacy: We’ve started two different class novels, Holes and The Explorer and we have been learning about past, present and future tenses.

Inter-disciplinary Learning (IDL)/Topic: Our Rainforests project is well underway and this week we have focused on de-forestation and habitats.  Hopefully we’ll be able to share some pieces of work with you soon.

Art: Our “stained-glass” windows are coming along well as are our rainforest plants and animal oil pastel pictures – photographs soon!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
